Can I bring my own caterer?
Yes. You are welcome to use a caterer of your choice. We simply ask that they provide proof of current public liability insurance and a valid food hygiene certificate before the event.
Are alcohol, smoking, and vaping permitted?
No. The Ark Pavilion is a strictly alcohol-free, smoke-free, and vape-free venue. This applies to all events, all spaces, and all guests without exception.
What is included in the venue hire fee?
Hire includes use of the space for your agreed session, tables and chairs in your chosen configuration, and the technical equipment standard to that room. The Grand Hall includes a full PA system and LED screen. All other spaces include basic sound reinforcement and a projector. A full breakdown is confirmed in your proposal.
What are your capacities?
The Grand Hall seats up to 800 in a theatre-style configuration and can be adapted for a range of layouts and event formats. The Haven accommodates up to 120, and divides into Haven Maxi (approximately 60) and Haven Mini (approximately 40). The Anchor and The Harbour are both conference rooms accommodating up to 40 each.
How do I check availability or make a booking?
Complete the enquiry form on this page, WhatsApp us on [number], or email enquiries@thearkpavilion.com. We respond to all enquiries within twenty-four hours on working days. Enquiries received after 5 pm will be picked up the following morning.
Is there parking at the venue?
There is limited on-site parking available. Adjacent paid parking and street parking are also accessible nearby. If you are expecting many guests arriving by car, we recommend communicating parking options to them in advance. Full details are included in every booking confirmation.
What AV equipment is available?
The Grand Hall is equipped with a full PA system and LED screen as standard. All other spaces include basic sound reinforcement and a projector. For more advanced production requirements, including live streaming, multi-camera setups, and enhanced technical support, we offer TAP Productions, our tiered AV service. Ask us about this when you enquire.
Can I live stream or record my event?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own production equipment and crew, or use TAP Productions, our in-house tiered AV service, if you would prefer us to handle it. Either way, let us know your requirements at the enquiry stage so we can ensure the space and access arrangements are ready for you.
